My Beloved Fezza: A Car That’s Part of My Life
My car, a Molten Orange Fiesta ST MK7 1.6 Turbo, holds a special place in my heart. It’s more than just a vehicle; it’s been there for me through the ups and downs of life, experiencing a multitude of moments in a short time span. Despite its high mileage, this car has never let me down, consistently performing without skipping a beat. There was a time when I considered selling it, but I couldn’t bring myself to part with it. I hope to keep my little fezza forever, running it into the ground with love. My ultimate goal is to take it on the track in a few years, where it can truly shine.
Over time, I’ve upgraded my fezza with various bolt-ons, enhancing its performance and making it a true joy to drive. It now boasts an impressive list of modifications, including a Stage 3 ITG full induction kit, Miltek sport non-res exhaust system, Stage 1 Airtec intercooler, Airtec short shifter, and Eibach lowering springs, giving it a personalized touch that reflects my automotive passion.
My journey with Midnight Lancs began when the club hosted a memorial meet for the late Jack Moran, who was a cousin of a good friend of mine. Although I had never had the chance to meet Jack, I felt a strong sense of respect and decided to attend the meet. It was my first taste of the car scene, and I was impressed by how the club paid tribute to Jack while also raising funds for his family. It was there that I met Tom Gill, a charming member of the club who encouraged me to attend the next meet, and from that point on, I’ve been a regular at every gathering.
Midnight Lancs has become an integral part of my life, playing a significant role in my social circle. I’ve made many friends through the club and the car scene in general. The camaraderie within the club is like that of a family, fostering a deeper appreciation for our cars and the joy of the little things in life. While the responsibilities of being part of the club can be demanding, the benefits and rewards far outweigh the efforts. The sense of community and friendship that I’ve found in Midnight Lancs has enriched my life in ways I could have never imagined.
I hope to be an active member of the team for a long time, contributing to the club’s growth and fostering a welcoming and accepting atmosphere for all car enthusiasts. My fezza, combined with my passion for cars and Midnight Lancs, has become an inseparable part of my life’s journey, and I’m excited to see where this exhilarating road takes me next.
